Wednesday night was Lancashire Night at The Berwick
On the menu was -
Lancashire cheese and caramelised red onion tart
Lancashire Hot Pot
Manchester Tart
All home made of course.
After dinner guests were invited to listen to a tale of Lancashire Folklore - the story of Marjorie 'Meg' Shelton - the hag of the Fylde who lived during the 17 century in the Parish of St. Annes Church, in the Wood Plumpton area. Meg plagued the are with her strange behaviour....
but it would spoil the suspense if I told more.
